A vast majority of yoga students opt in to assists especially after they have seen, experienced, and learned how to receive them.
The way an assist can support a student into a new experience of their practice, a greater awareness of their capability, and regulate with your nervous system is truly transformational.
And yet, assists have become a controversial, taboo, or “lost art” in the yoga room (one of my yogis used that phrase and I agree!)
There is a lot of misunderstanding, misinformation, and misconception around hands-on assists.
This is a space to not only debunk myths, but to create awareness, empowerment with experience, knowledge, and confidence to support students using safe, supportive, and skillful assists.
Bring your fears, concerns, and ill-experiences of assists and expect to learn, practice, and walk away with greater confidence, and ease of 20+ assists.
Come to the understanding of the why’s & how’s behind assists for deeper understanding of how to support your students of varying experiences alongside other like-minded teachers to support and expand your teaching toolkit.
